Precision Neuroscience, Medtronic Team Up on BCI Tech

The companies will co-develop a technology that merges Precision’s Layer 7 cortical interface with the Medtronic StealthStation surgical navigation system.

Precision Neuroscience began a strategic partnership to advance neurosurgery, using Precision’s brain-computer interface (BCI) technology and Medtronic’s Neuroscience portfolio.

The companies will co-develop a technology that merges Precision’s Layer 7 cortical interface with the Medtronic StealthStation surgical navigation system.

Neurosurgeons often relay on different tools to visualize brain structure and function, which may limit the speed of intra-operative decision-making. This collaboration combines Precision’s high-resolution electrode tech and Medtronic’s real-time 3D surgical navigation platform to offer an end-to-end system designed for real-time functional and structural information in the operating room.
